大学在推进妇女解放进程中的历史地位与作用

20世纪初,中国女子开始进入男子一统天下的大学,这无论是对大学的发展还是为妇女解放都带来了全新的意义。然而,在以往的研究中,学者却大多着力于描述初创期的女子高等教育机构以及起始期的男女同校对女性而言的森严的管理制度、男女有别的课程设置以及培养目标,对大学在妇女解放进程中所起的作用则重视不够。事实上,在女子进入大学的近现代社会转型时期,大学在引领妇女运动发展,催生女性服务社会的精神,点燃女性革命热情,开拓女性智慧等方面起到了相当大的历史作用。

The Historical Role of Universities in the Process of Chinese Women's Liberation

It is significant for the universities development and Chinese women liberation when the universities recruited female students at the beginning of the 20th century, which have been ignored in previously studies. The universities have several functions in the process of women liberation: leading the female liberation, encouraging them to serve the society, inspiring their enthusiasm for revolution and developing their wisdom. I try to evoke the university reformers gender sense today to develop the universities' taking on their responsibility, for women's liberation and growth.
