| 摘 要： | T·S·艾略特是现代诗歌发展史上一位公认的重要人物,其早期诗作<普鲁弗洛克的情歌>在很多方面体现了现代派诗歌的主要特征,如意象的并置、语气的转换、省略与反讽的运用、形式表面的杂乱与作品深层的结构的一致性等等,所有这一切都指明了现代主义诗歌发展的方向.艾略特的创作与文艺思想对整个20世纪英语诗歌的发展产生了巨大而深远的影响.

| Abstract: | The Paper makes an analysis of T.S.Eliot's Poem"The Love Song of Prufrock"and concludes that the poem presents features of modernist poetry,e.g. juxtaposition of image,switch of tone,ellipsis and satire,chaotic surface and consistent deep structure.These features points to the trend of modernist poems. |
