| 摘 要： | 委婉语是各种文化中都存在的一种表达方式,带有极强的民族文化特征。它像一面镜子,能够反映出形形色色的社会心理状态。国内外许多学者从不同角度对委婉语进行了研究。本文将用现代语言学的理论来分析英汉委婉语的形成规律及其交际功能,从而有助于在交际中恰当地解读和使用委婉语。
