试论刘向著述的思想倾向

刘向既是一个儒生 ,又是一个学者和实际政治的参与者 ,他生活在新的伦理道德尚未完全建立起来的西汉末期。其思想可分为两个层面 :一是在他思想中占据主导地位的儒家伦理道德思想和社会政治思想 ;二是儒家思想涵摄下的各家思想。这使他的思想呈现出既力图用儒家思想统一全社会思想意识 ,又残留着许多先秦诸子思想的比较复杂的面貌

On the Ideological Tendency of Liu Xiang''''s Works

As a confucian scholar, a learned man and an exact participant in government and political affairs, Liu Xiang lived in the last stage of the Han Dynasty. His ideas can be divided into two levels. The first level is his confucian moral principles and sociopolitical ideology which held a dominant position in his ideas. The second level is many other kinds of ideas which are embraced in Confucianism. All of this makes his ideology present a mixed outlook that strive to integrate the ideas of society through Confucian ideology and remain many ideas of the various schools of thought of the pre-Qin days.
