| Abstract: | So far, the research of iconicity among linguists has mainly been confined to the lexical level and syntactical level, and little attention has been paid to the textual level. In the light of the theory of iconicity, the present paper attempts to make a tentative probe into the textual iconicity from three aspects, i.e. forms of expression, devices of expression and stylistic functions. |
