| Abstract: | The essay reviews and comments on the newly revised syllabus for Chinese teaching in senior middle schools, which came into use in the autumn of 2000.The writing mainly covers five aspects, that is, the new viewpoints of the nature, the goal, the methodology, the evaluation, the course and teaching materials of Chinese language education. The new syllabus reflects the latest concept of Chinese language education development. It is the product of the new concept and new thoughts in the theoretical field of the Chinese education during the recent years. |
