如今的全球化,不仅是一股经济浪潮,更是无孔不入的"媒体网络".世界上凡是有电源的地方都有被媒体"袭击"的可能.信息传播技术的发展和革新使我们的地球正在一天天"缩小",然而可以供人类共享的"地球村文化"并没有真正产生.在商业贸易、科学技术和信息传播日益走向全球化的过程中,跨文化传播导致的全球化文化或媒体文化,以极其迅猛之势席卷世界各地,使各国难于摆脱对本土文化生存及命运的忧患.但是,不同文化间的交流是世界文化发展的大趋势,只有不断融入世界多元文化之中,本土文化的生存才会有保障.

The Destiny of National Culture in the Process of Globalization

This article aims to examine the inevitable impact of globalization upon national cultures across the world. It is true that almost the whole world is electronically reached or influenced by the so-called global media, due to the advanced technologies of communications. The concept of "global village" suggests that peoples all over the world be dominated by a global culture. As a result, the survival of national or local cultures is becoming a greater con-cern for many nations. However, In support of the argument that national or local cultures can hardly be replaced by the global culture, this article shares the view that national cultures with long history will benefit rather than decay in the process of globalization.
