语言习得关键期假设的若干问题和外语教学

摘    要:语言习得的关键期与第二语言习得最佳年龄问题,涉及心理语言学、神经生物学和认知心理学等新兴学科。对这一问题,存在着诸多不同观点。对比分析不同年龄外语学习者的特点,把握我国小学外语教学的现状,有助于正确认识小学阶段开设外语课的可行性和局限性,对于改进小学阶段外语教学也有参考作用。

Abstract:The study of relationship between critical periods of language acquisition and ages for second language acquisition involves the interconnection and integration of neurology,psycholinguistics and cognitive psychology,and in return different schools of theories and studies have appeared.Based on the analysis of learners' characteristics of different ages,along with the study of primary foreign language teaching in China,the paper attempts to explore the feasibilities and limitations of opening foreign language courses in early periods.As expected,it might be preferably helpful for the establishment of educational system and for the course planning in primary schools.
