六朝移民与江南经济区的形成

六朝时期由于民族矛盾纷争和战乱频繁,掀起了中国历史上北人南迁的又一次高潮。大量南迁移民不仅为江南地区提供了充足的劳动力、垦辟出大量的土地,并且在南方广泛种植和推广北方的旱地作物,同时铁器牛耕等先进的生产工具和劳动技术得到了进一步推广应用。以江南农业经济的迅速发展为基础,其手工业和商业也都蓬勃兴起,大型商业城市纷纷出现。六朝移民不仅推动了江南地区经济快速发展,促成了江南经济区的形成,而且为隋唐以后中国经济重心的南移奠定了坚实基础。

Migration in Six dynasties & Formation of Economic Zones in South China

Due to the conflicts between nationalities and chaos caused by war,the southward migration reached another climax in Six-dynasties.The migration supplied much labour force,assarted much land,planted and popularized wheat,and introduced the inhabitants in the area covering Guangdong and Guangxi provinces to farm with ironware and cattle.Besides the rapid development of agriculture,the handicraft industry and the commercial industry also made a great progress.To sum up,the migration during the Six-dynasties promoted the development of the south,and then the basic economic zones formed.At the same,it laid a foundation for the relocation of economic center from the North to the South since the Sui and Tang dynasties.
