论中国现代小说中的速写体

速写体小说是中国现代小说史上的一种体式,至今没有得到关注,这跟它没有产生影响较大的作品有关。它有特定的文体特征:它是新闻和文学之间的边缘文体,篇幅短,时间跨度小,少历时性叙述;多场景化,少回溯、插叙等情节手法;多简笔勾勒,少精雕细刻。它无法用理论界流行的“散文化”来概括。它的兴盛与急速变动的时代和作家迅速反映时代的创作追求有关,也跟大众传播的兴盛分不开。

On the Literary Sketch in the Modern Chinese Novels

Sketch novel is a writing style in the history of modern Chinese novels. It has not gained any concerns so far, for there are not any influential works written in this style. This kind of novel has its unique literary features: it is an edge style between journalism and literature; it is short; the time span is narrow; it lacks chronological narration; it has many scenes; it lacks flashback, and it sketches rather than refines. It is hard for us to generalize it as " versification" which is popular in the theoretical circle.
