| 摘 要： | 照应是英语语篇的衔接手段之一,它通过照应词汇对语篇内某些词语作出语义上的解释,包括语篇中所涉及的实体、概念、事态等。这些照应词联系上下文,衔接英语篇章。医学英语是科技英语的一种,对其照应性的研究有助于译者从语篇的衔接特征入手,理解照应词项的具体指称意义,从而得出正确的译文。

| Abstract: | Reference is one of the cohesive ties in English text. It uses some referential words to interpret certain reference items including some entities, conceptions, situations and etc. These referential words link parts of a context and cohere the whole English text. Medical English is a kind of EST （English of science and technology）. The purpoee of the study of reference in medical English text is to help understand the actual interpretation of reference items within the text to ensure perject translation. |
