本文对古汉语虚词"而""已"和习惯说法"若是(如彼、如此)其……"作了与传统不同的解释,连词"而"字用在主谓之间纯粹表示逆接;陈述语气词"已"字用在陈述句句尾,主要表示肯定论断;"若是(如彼、如此)其……"等并不是"其……若是"、"其……如彼"的倒装,应该是两类性质不同的说法。
This paper gives a new explanation about the function words＂er＂and＂yi＂and the idiomatic usage＂ruo shi（ru bi,ru ci）qi……＂in the Ancient Chinese.The explanation is different from the traditional explanation.This paper includes the usage of conjunction＂er＂which is put in the subject and the predicate,the analysis of the indicative mood words＂yi＂,the syntactic analysis of the idiomatic usage＂ruo shi（ru bi,ru ci）qi……＂.
