百年《西游记》作者研究的回顾与反思

《西游记》作者研究大体经历了无作者，推衍作者为丘处机、吴承恩；否定邱处机，考订作者为吴承恩；否定吴承恩，寻觅新作者的探索历程。新的探寻沿着3个方向展开：由作序者、校者“华阳洞天主人”寻找作者；将目光移向“王府”、“八公之徒”；认定此书必为道士——丘处机之门徒所作。在不断否定中推进，思路愈开阔，偶有新资料发现，然距确定作者尚远。

The Exploration on the Author of Journev to the West Revisited:the Retrosoection and Introspection of the Last Century

:The exploration on the author of the Journey to the West can be divided into the following stages: No author or alleging Qiu Chuji or Wu Cheng-en as the author; negating Qiu Chuji and asserting Wu Cheng-en as the author; negating Wu Cheng-en and making the further exploration and confirmation of the real author. The new exploration is launched in three directions: begin to explore from "Huayang Dong Tian Zhu Ren", who wrote the preface and revised the book; to focus on "Wang Fu" and "the Prentice of Ba Gong" to make the confirmation of the author; to assert that it is a Taoist who wrote the book. Moving forward in constant denying, the train of thought is widened further and further. Though the new materials were found once in a while, there is still a long way to go before confirming the author finally.
