论社会主义和谐社会与法治的关系

和谐社会是古今中外人类追求的理想社会。中外历史上许多思想家对此进行了不懈地探索,提出了许多和谐社会的理想模式,并作了生动地描述,有的还进行了伟大的试验。在今天,中国共产党把全面建设社会主义和谐社会确定为自己现实的奋斗目标,努力构建民主法治、公平正义、诚信友爱、充满活力、安定有序、人与自然和谐相处的惠及十几亿人口的全面小康社会。构建社会主义和谐社会必须以先进的文化、发达的市场经济和完善的政治体制为基础,也必须以法治为有力保障。

On the Relationship Between Socialist Harmonious Society and the Rule by Law

Harmonious society has been an ideal form of society pursued by people,in modern and ancient times,in China and elsewhere.Ideologists,in China and other countries,have made persevering efforts in the research,put forward a great number of ideal patterns of harmonious society and provided vivid exposition about them;some even has gone so far as to make some experiments.Today,CPC sets the overall construction of socialist harmonious society,as its objective of struggle determined to construct an overall well-off society that will benefit a dozen billion of people.The construction of socialist harmonious society will be achieved only by means of taking as its basis the advanced culture,highly-developed market and a perfect political system,and the rule by law as its powerful guarantee.
