毛泽东思想的精神实质及其现实把握

目前的“毛泽东思想概论”课程教学存在着两个方面的现实困难，即相对于现实和历史来说，毛泽东思想反映的内容不能简单地运用于今天。为克服此困难，必须分析目前教材单纯从实事求是等三个方面来分析毛泽东思想活着的灵魂的不足，并在此基础上用三个范例说明从“精神实质”方面来理解毛泽东思想在现代的价值。

The Spiritual Essence and Practical Application of Mao Zedong Thought

Practically, there are difficulties for the teaching of the course An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought. The difficulties lie in that since Mao Zedong Thought is a crystallization of the more-than-a-half-century experience of the Chinese revolution, it can't be simply put into present practice. To overcome the difficulties, we shouldn't analyze the inadequacies of the living soul of Mao Zedong Thought only from the political viewpoint of seeking truth from facts. Instead we should base our analysis on the Three Examples hence gaining a true understanding of the spiritual essence of Mao Zedong Thought, whose real practical value can be elicited.
