From the perspective of female literature,it is found that there is no tendency of advocating any feminist theory in the novels of Fangfang,but there is much concern on the fate of individuals."Running Flames" is such a novel,which mainly tells us a tragic love story of one rural woman.However,the novel unconsciously reveals the survival conditions and tragic fates of rural women in the new period of China,which let us really see the unbreakable patriarchal ruling status in the rural area.Meanwhile,the novel also shows the reflection of author on the problem of female liberation in China.
