准噶尔部形成考辨

准噶尔部即左部 ,它源于 15世纪 6 0年代末厄鲁特汗国的左部 ,16世纪初 ,伴随着汗国的变迁 ,由行政建制区蜕变为部落 ,准噶尔一名亦作为部落名称沿用下来。噶尔丹称汗建国 ,准噶尔遂成为汗国名称之一。准噶尔汗国灭亡 ,其名称逐渐演变成部名和地名。

A Textual Study of the Emerging of Zhungar Tribes

Zhungar Tribes meant the left flank, which originated from the left flank of the Olot Khan Kingdom in the late period of 1460s. Along with the Khan Kingdom's evolution, the left flank became tribe from an administrative district in early years of the 16th century, the name of Zhungar was used as the name of these tribes continuously. When Gardan became the Khan and established his kingdom, the term of Zhungar thus became the name of the Khan kingdom. After the Zhungar Khan Kingdom's being destroyed, its name was gradually became a tribe name and a place name.
