| Abstract: | Ancient Chinese prose and poetry have produced a galaxy of much-quotedphrases and lines, which spread far and wide and are handed down from generation togeneration. Yet, inappropriate interpretations of part of them have long been in existence. An analysis is given to ten of the misinterpretations in this paper. |
