The Space Form of Hu Lanhe

This article intends to discuss how the creation of space form in Xiao Hong's novel has contributed to a breakthrough in the traditional novel poetics,thus Hu Lanhe may be a most proper text on this account.Though being a typical novel for its space form,the Hu Lanhe is not going to"pursue the lost time"as most this kind of novels do.It consists of three aspects as the major features on the construction of space form: building of a single whole space world,juxtaposition in the structure and a suspense in the time flowing.
