美国高校通识教育中的艺术素质培养

摘    要:通识教育思想起源于柏拉图对于知识及教育本质的认识及亚里士多德的自由教育思想。美国现代通识教育以培养学生文理交叉的综合素质为核心,帮助学生获得宽厚全面的知识,开拓学生广阔的视野。艺术素质培养作为美国高校通识教育的重要组成部分,在发展学生想象力及学术创造力的同时对塑造学生健全人格具有不可替代的价值。美国高校已经形成科学合理的艺术素质培养制度,在入学资格、学生社团、行政管理、课程设置等方面都为学生艺术素质培养创造了良好条件。
