语言阈值假设下的外语阅读技能迁移研究

摘    要:母语阅读和外语阅读的关系一直是研究者们关于外语阅读研究的主要问题,根据语言相互依赖假设和语言阈值假设设计了一项实证研究,数据分析表明,如果英语语言水平达到一定的阈值,已培养好的汉语阅读技能能够向英语阅读技能迁移,英语语言水平制约着汉语阅读技能的迁移。推理和归纳等高层次的阅读技能受汉语阅读技能的影响最明显;在英语阅读能力提高中,英语词汇起着重要作用;而汉语阅读能力和技巧的不足也影响着正迁移过程,影响英语阅读能力的迅速提高。

Abstract:Many researchers showed great interest in the relationship between English and Chinese reading ability.This empirical study was designed under the framework of two hypothesis: the Linguistic Threshold Hypothesis(LTH) and the Linguistic Interdependence Hypothesis(LIH) in the EFL context.The results indicate that both Chinese reading ability and English language proficiency are significant predictors of English reading ability;Chinese reading ability will transfer to English reading when English proficiency t...
