| Abstract: | This paper makes a general summary on the development of regulation theory from the per-spective of economics. It analyzes the economic basis and research emphasis during the theoretical develop-ment. It points out that the innovation of regulation theory contributes to the theory and practice in the elec-tricity market, including constructing the economic foundation for the competitive electricity market theory,promoting the establishment of new- type regulatory modes in the reform of electricity market, etc. |
