Jin Yuelin's Concept of Paradox and Its Enlightenment

A vital issue in mathematical and logical philosophy,Paradox has been paid great attention to in the Western ideological history,but there has never been a final solution to it.Jin Yuelin went a twisty way in his research of Paradox,and he developed some views of his own about the issue. Firstly,he viewed Paradox as a particular self-contradiction,explored its traits and causes,and put forward "a temporary solution".Secondly,he considered Paradox a kind of formal nonsense and tried to set up a "scope logic" to eliminate it.Thirdly,he saw Paradox as an indefinite issue in thinking.With rich ideas in them,Jin Yuelin's concept of Paradox has important academic value and methodological significance.
