多媒体网络英语教学中的元认知:作用及培养策略

摘    要:元认知是认知主体利用元认知知识和元认知策略对认知过程的调节和监控,是个体思维的内核。基于多媒体网络的英语教学模式突破了传统教学模式的时空限制,强调学生的自主学习能力,对学生的元认知能力提出了更高要求。在新教学模式下,元认知能力和学习成绩呈现出很大的相关性,元认知能力的高低直接影响学生学习成功的可能性。因此,教师应帮助学生提高网络定位感,关注个体认知风格,开展反思活动,在教学中加强形成性评价,建立一个基于元认知调节活动的网络自主学习过程模式,调动认知潜能,从而提高认知加工的效率。

Abstract:As the core of thinking system,metacognition is an individual's regulation and examination in the process of cognition based on metacognitive knowledge and experience.The English teaching mode based on multimedia and web technology differs from the traditional one in that it breaks the limitations in space and time and emphasizes students' autonomous learning ability and thus presents higher requirements for students' metacognition.In the new teaching mode,metacognition influences students' learning results greatly.So,teachers should help students improve web orientation,pay attention to individual cognition style and carry out reflective activities.The establishment of autonomous learning mode based on metacognitive regulation activates students' cognitive potential and helps improve cognitive efficiency.
