试论中国传统叙事中的历史叙述

叙述学主要研究的对象是文学叙述,即虚构叙述.但对中国传统叙事的研究,却不能不将历史叙述纳入其中.由于中国史学传统异常发达,使历史叙述在中国传统叙事中得到高度发展.我们从先秦叙事的特点以及史诗的残缺和小说的晚出等方面都可以清楚地看到中国文学叙事传统的形成、发展与历史叙述的联系.

On the Historical Accounts in Chinese Traditional Narratives

Narrative investigates literary or fiction narration. A study of Chinese traditional narratives, however, has to include historical accounts. Given the flourishing tradition of China's historical study, accounts of historical events are very popular in Chinese traditional narratives. The narrative characteristics in Ancient Qin's literature, its absence of epics and the postponed appearance of novels as a literary genre all readily lend themselves to a clear indication of the close relationship between the birth and growth of Chinese literary tradition of narratives and historical accounts.
