However, the therapeutic BCI has brought about the problem of informed consent while improving the medical level. There are difficulties of varying degrees in the stages of full disclosure, accurate understanding and independent decision-making. Improving medical literacy of doctors and patients, enhancing the ethical awareness of medical care, consummating laws and regulations and providing system guarantee, amplifing the supervision mechanism and clarifying the supervision responsibility can respond to the issue of informed consent of therapeutic BCI to a certain extent.
