试析宗教因素对2004年美国总统大选的影响

本文是关于美国2004年总统大选的定性研究。在分析大选调查数据的同时,笔者探讨了共和党总统候选人布什和民主党总统候选人克里在处理宗教与政治关系上所采取的不同方式及策略。结果表明,布什更好地利用了宗教因素为其政治服务的方式和策略,赢得了主流教派的支持和认同,获得了广大选民的理解,从而达到了利用宗教为其政治竞争服务的目的。

An Analysis of Religions Implact on the General Election of USA of 2004

This is a qualitative research on the U.S.presidential election of 2004.The author has made an analysis of the election results,and of the different ways and stratiges that Bush,the Republican presidential candidate and Kerry,the Democratic presidential candidate,used in dealing with the relations between religion and politics in their campaigns.The research results show that Bush had better ways and strategies that helped him make use of religion for politics,get the support and identification from the major religions, and understanding of the voters,and achieve his goal that religion was supposed to serve politics.
