| Abstract: | Nurtured in Western mythical literature, William Faulkner looked upon mythology as reference in his creation and found the place where people's spirits could go when they got lost in the social values; his consciousness of mythology which is found hard to part with is one of the main factors that moved a reader deeply in his heart of hearts and thus awakened people's unconsciousness. |
