| 摘 要： | 本文以2004年英语专业四级考试大纲修订以来的历次专四考试旨在比较历次阅读考试的特点。文章提出英语专业学生必须认识专四考试的性质为教学检查类考试。文章最后提出提高专四阅读成绩的对策，即加强课外阅读训练，注重课外阅读材料的选择，课堂阅读教学应强调阅读策略的训练和培养。

| Abstract: | This paper makes a comparison of the post-2004 reading comprehension parts in TEM-4.It is found that the test is proficiency-based and curriculum-based.It is suggested that students read much after class,select proper reading materials and strengthen the use of reading strategies. |
