跨文化交流中的心态刍议

跨文化交流已成为全球化时代越来越普遍的活动。而由于长期闭关锁国之故,学界和民间对跨文化交流都还缺少足够的经验,对文化间交流的后果忧心忡忡,出于传统文化会由于文化间的交流而受到侵蚀的担忧,生发出强烈的文化保守主义态度。其实,这样的担忧并无必要,因为文化交流的趋势既无法回避,也不能改变。理性的、建设性的办法是建立和保持开放的文化心态,不以是否"中国的"为评价、取舍的标准,以便更好地实现文化间的良性互动与和谐相处。

On the Cultural Attitude in Cross-cultural Communication

Cross-cultural communication has become more and more popular in the age of globalization.However,due to a long history of exclusiveness and close-door policy,intellectuals and the public seem to lack experience in cross-cultural communication,and as a result,are worried about the results arising from cross-cultural communication.The fear for the possible erosion of traditional culture by cross-cultural communication has led to the intense cultural conservatism.Such worries are unnecessary because cross-cultural communication is unavoidable and irreversible.The reasonable and constructive attitude is to learn to be culturally open-minded and give up the "Chinese" standard of judgment so as to realize a more beneficial and harmonious interaction between cultures.
