论主位述位与英语教学

摘    要:在系统功能语法思想的影响下,对语篇中主位与述位衔接的研究可用于指导英语阅读教学。语篇通过表层结构的衔接以及底层结构的连贯向读者提供了篇章组织的脉络。因此主位述位的衔接是实现语篇衔接和连贯的重要手段,也是指导阅读教学的重要手段。它利于学生把握语篇发展的结构线索,提高阅读理解水平。

Abstract:With the influence of Functional Grammar,the study of the cohesion of theme and rheme can be applied in teaching English reading.The cohesion in the linguistic structure and the coherence in the discourse structure offer the reader a venation of the discourse organization.Thus,the organization of theme and rheme is an essential way to achieve cohesion and coherence in a discourse,and as well a good way to guide the teaching of reading.It is beneficial for students to grasp the structure clues of the discourse development,thus improving their reading abilities.
