近代江南的村籍与地权

村籍和地权有着内在的联系，在近代江南的有些村庄，能否成为“村子里的人”即取得村籍，是在某个村庄拥有土地的先决条件；反过来，某人在某村拥有土地，也未必被村人视为“村子里的人”，有时仍被称作“外来户”。在江南乡村，即使是经过入赘（即成为“上门姑爷”）或收继（成为养子，又称“螟蛉子”）这样的婚姻和准血缘关系，也不能融合进入家族血缘关系网络中，即是说，赘婿和养子仍被族人视为外人。在农民的村籍现念中，村落和宗族是合二为一的，其逻辑是封闭的族群关系网络背后隐含着村民对本村土地权的资源独占观念。
