论深化土司问题研究与“土司学”的构建

土司问题研究正成为史学研究的热点，构建土司学也提上了议事日程。当前土司问题研究应强调历史大视野，因为土司制度的推行、改土归流的实施都是在极具中国特色的历史大背景下的历史现象和历史存在。同时，研究土司制度也要有历代边疆治理的大视野，毕竟土司制度是元明清三朝治理边疆过程中形成的一种治理模式。土司问题研究也要力戒泛化，要努力追求研究的深化与创新。在此基础上，加快推动土司学构建的进程。另外，要重视开展土司学构建的理论研究，要注意土司研究社会基本功能的发挥，而尽快组织力量，广泛调研，集思广益，启动《中国土司学概论》的研究与撰写则是当务之急和重中之重。土司学的构建，并不是土司问题研究的终结，而是一个新起点。

On Strengthening Tusi Research and the Construction of the Study of Tusi

The research onTusi is becoming a hot issue in the study of history,and the construction of the study of Tusi is being put on the agenda.Presently,the research on Tusi issues should be based on a wide historical vision,because the practice of Tusi system and bureaucratization of native officers,as historical phenomenon and historical existence,is under a historical background with Chinese characteristics.At the same time,the research on Tusi system,an administrative model in the frontier regions during the Yuan (1206—1368),Ming (1368—1644),and Qing (1316—1912) dynasties,should also be based on a wide historical vision,emphasizing deepening research and innovation.Among the lots of theoretical and practical works to be done in constructing the study of Tusi,compiling Introduction to the Study of Tusi is the most urgent.The construction of the study of Tusi should not be the end in the research on Tusi issues;instead,it should be a new start.
