精英具有两层含义 :一是指在要解决的时代主要问题中起重要作用的人物 ,新精英是由于时代问题的新而产生的角色的新 ;二是指知识分子 ,新精英是指当代知识分子地位作用的新。新精英具有高知识性、高市场性、高增值性 ,是“知识就是财富”的代言人 ,是“我创造我存在”的价值观的体现者。分析新精英形象可以了解当代青年的社会作用、价值取向 ,可以认识当代知识分子的历史地位、观念变更

The image of new elite and its influence on youths

The elite has two meanings: one refers to the social elite who plays a vital role in the process of solving current problems caused by social development which brings them new connotations in return .The other means the intellectuals whose roles are being changed with social advancement .The new elites are characterized by their great learning, high economic sense and high value increment, who are the spokespersons of "knowledge is wealth" and represent the value attitude of "I create, I exist." To analyze the characters of the image of new elite, we can understand the social function and value orientation of the youths, and know their historic status and conceptual changes of the intellectuals in the present day world.
