21世纪中国文学的文化选择

世纪之交市场话语的勃兴与启蒙思潮的低落 ,使中国文学的主体出现了内部分化 ,采取了多元的文化选择。以群体为本位的道德理想主义摆出了道德至上的姿态 ,试图从农业文明和共同体社会中寻找精神资源 ,借以反抗物欲横流的道德危机 ;以正当的人性要求为依据 ,还俗潮流推动着文学的娱乐化和世俗化进程 ,但戴着“自由”和“个性”面具的虚无主义和消费主义倾向 ,将文学引向了恶俗的歧途 ;拒绝沦为工具的审美理想主义 ,捍卫着文学的个人性、过程性与常识性 ,成为价值的守护者和现实的监督者 ,与现实进行富有建设性和批判性的对话。 2 1世纪的中国文学只有摆脱群体性、目的性和工具性的束缚 ,才能确立自己的独立品格。

Cultural Choice in Chinese Literature in the 21st Century
