元认知在英语写作教学中的应用

摘    要:元认知概念自20世纪70年代Flavell提出以来,广泛应用到外语阅读和听力教学等诸多方面,但与写作相关实证研究涉及不多。文章试图在元认知应用写作教学实践中,通过训练学生的元认知来提高英语写作水平,并提出了一些具体方法。研究表明元认知与英语写作密切相关,丰富的元认知有助于写作水平的提高,对英语写作教学有一定的帮助。

Abstract:Metacognition has been widely studied and applied to the teaching of English reading and listening since it was proposed by Flavell in 1970s.However,it seldom touches on English writing.This paper tries to take it into the practical teaching of English writing,and probe some methodology of enhancing the metacognition of the students thereby to raise the level of their English writing.This research shows that metacognition is correlated with English writing and can help improving it by training,which is useful in writing teaching.
