| Abstract: | There exists the relation of restraint and counter restraint between the rhythm of Chinese and the Chinese language. The Chinese rhythm has the characteristic of layers, which can help us to pin down the semantic meaning of Chinese. The rhythm of Chinese has different directions of flow, which, in turn, govern the law of change of the syllables and tones. |
