| 摘 要： | 为了探讨非性别因素对话语风格性别差异的影响,运用社会语言学定量研究方法,对美国电视剧《老友记》(Friends)的部分语料进行统计、分析,结合语境,对统计数据进行了讨论。结果表明:剧中两性在话语风格上更倾向于相同,而不是相异;社会文化的变化引起语言使用的相应变化,性别与语言研究应与时俱进,结合新的社会文化语境探讨性别因素对语言变异的影响,并在引用以往研究成果时要考虑其研究背景。

| Abstract: | Focusing on four conversational strategies(tag questions,hedges,the amount of talk,and topic choices) used by men and women in TV series "Friends",and analyzing the data quantitatively,this investigation shows that there is no obvious difference between male and female speech in the play.The investigation result is discussed and explained from the perspective of non-sex factors,and it indicates that in many respects young men and women today are more similar to each other than their grandparents were,so is their language. |
