| Abstract: | In this paper the writer analyses the characteristics of Chinese allusions.The writer points out that the translator can use the correct methods,including adaptation,free translation with annotation or literal translation with annotation or transliteration with annotation,literal translation by unchanging images and with annotation and free translation by omitting images or changing images,to translate the Chinese allusions into English. |
