| 摘 要： | 近代潮汕女子教育是由传教士在潮汕开办教会学校首开其端的。20世纪初,在女权运动的强烈呼唤中发展为本土自办的女子教育,并在民国时期得到了很大发展。近现代潮汕女学的兴起和发展,既是时代变革的产物,也反过来对潮汕社会的发展产生深远的影响。

| Abstract: | Modern women education in Chaoshan area was firstly started by missionaries when they set up missionary schools there. Early in the 20th century,under the strong appeal of feminist movements,it developed into a form of locally self-built women education,and prospered dramatically in the period of the Republic of China. The rise and development of modern women education in Chaoshan area is the product of epochal transformation; in turn,it exerted profound influence on the development of Chaoshan society. |
