论葛洪以术为底蕴的哲学思想

On Ge Hong's philosophy based on techniques

Ge Hong claimed that matter was able to change, and the change was objective and followed the rules of Dao.People could make the changes answer people's needs.Therefore,he insisted that there was only one Dao while technique was varied.Dao commanded techniques and supervised people who cultivated techniques.Ge Hong said that there was immortal and it was possible to keep longevity.To gain Dao and become immortal was the final outcome for which people cultivated techniques.For cultivating techniques,Ge Hong researched the relation between body and mind,discussed leechcraft and alchemy,etc,and pointed out that favorable virtue could provide the cultivating people with a good social environment.He Hong's thought is an important part of Chinese philosophy,and has far-reaching influence on religious Daoism.
