寒山诗歌与余华小说的英语译介比较研究

寒山诗歌与余华小说经过英译译介,均突破了在源语文学中的旧有地位,在译语文学体系中获得了新的文学生命。通过对比二者的译介背景、文本特点和翻译策略,发现前者是禅宗启迪,后者是回归文学母体;二者都是经过第三条线路到达译语文化;均由熟知译语语言与文化的L1译者翻译;在文本翻译过程中,寒山与余华各有的多个L1译者都在尊重原作的前提下,均对语言细节地方做出了独到的翻译理解,充分发挥了译者主体性。

The English Translation Comparison between Hanshan’s Poems and Yu Hua’s Novels

The English introduction and translation of both Hanshan’s poems and Yu Hua’ s novels transcend the status they are in literary parameter of the source culture and take an extended new life in the target culture.By comparing the background of the translation introduction,the literary features and the translation strategies of the two,it can be concluded that: the former is for religion highlight while the latter for the literary returning;both of them manage to arrive in the target culture with safety via the third route;both of them are the works of the L1 translators;all the translators,with perfect handle of subjectivity,pay full attention to the language details and contribute their particular comprehension in translation with little adopting the source text.
