On the Rise and Fall of Guangxi Libraries during the Period of the Republic of China

Guangxi’s libraries in the Republic Period had experienced a time of evolving rise and fall in the forms of “slow development - rapid development - serious destruction - existence in name only”.The development of library cause was driven into popularity in Guangxi by the joint forces of mechanical printing industry,new school popularity,attention of library cause and effective policy implementation by authorities,and the efforts form some part of cultural workers and the mas-ses.
