一百年来我国文学翻译十大论争及其特点

20世纪一百年中国的文学翻译论争可以分为十大主题,总称十大论争,即信达雅之争、直译与意译之争、异化与归化之争、转译与复译之争、"处女"、"媒婆"与"奶娘"之争、神似化境与等值等效之争、可译与不可译之争、翻译文学国别属性之争、艺术论和科学论之争以及建立"翻译学"的论争。通过对上述事项的梳理、总结和评述,我们简要归结了十大论争的基本内容,并从论争的纵向演进、论争方式、论题的"泛文学化"等方面总结了十大论争所呈现的基本特点。

The Top Ten Debates and Their Characteristics in Literary Translation in the 21st Century＇s China

In the twentieth century,the debates of China＇s literary translation can be divided into ten main themes,that is,the debate of faithfulness,expressiveness and elegance;the debate of literal translation and free translation;the debate of domestication and foreignization;the debate of retranslation and translation not from the original text;the debate of whether the translator is a ＂virgin＂,a ＂match-maker＂ or a ＂wet nurse＂;the debate of spiritual resemblance,transmigration,equivalence and equivalent effect;the debate of translatability and untranslatability;the debate of the national affiliation of translated literature;the debate of whether translation is a science or art;and the debate of whether it is necessary to establish translatology.This paper is intended to briefly sum up the gist of the ten debates,and the fundamental features from the perspectives of vertical evolution,ways of the debates,and the pan-literary features of the themes.
