席勒: 审美的界限--对审美现代性话语的一种反思

现代性的后果直接引发了审美现代性话语的膨胀,席勒作为在现代性背景下最早提倡审美之于人类意义的美学家之一,他的相关思想自然为学术界充分挖掘和发挥,并成为对抗启蒙现代性话语的重要资源之一。但席勒并没有给予审美以审美主义所赋予的力量,而是意识到审美虽然对于道德、人类的理想状态等有独特的功效,但毕竟有自己不可逾越的界限,审美必须守住这些界限。学术界还没有给予这些思想以应有的重视,着力将其挖掘出来,以期对学界反思审美在现代性的工程中所扮演的角色、审美现代性话语的局限、如何超越现代性等方面有所裨益。

Schiller: Aesthetic Boundary-Aesthetic Reflections on Modernistic Discourse

Modernistic consequences lead to the expansion of aesthetic modernistic discourse.Schiller is one of the first advocators of aesthetics in the modernistic setting.His thoughts,which have been excavated and exerted by the academe,have been applied as one of the resources to confront the enlightening modernistic discourse.However,this paper thinks that Schiller has not endowed the power to aesthetics that have effects on morals and human's ideal estate.After all,aesthetics has its own insurmountable boundaries,to which the academe has not attached enough importance.This paper points it out in order to benefit the academe in terms of the role played by aesthetics in modernistic projects,the limitations of aesthetic modernistic discourse and surmounting modernism.
