| Abstract: | Conceptual metaphor is one of the most important theories in the study of cognitive linguistics.Based on the hypothesis that conceptual metaphor plays a positive role in college English vocabulary teaching and learning,this paper carries out an empirical study combining with teaching practice,and mainly examines the effectiveness of long-term retention of the vocabulary. |
