日本花道起源初探

随着古代中日文化的交流发展，中国的梅花、菊花、垂柳，及隋唐时期以花传情、寄情花木的赏花习俗传入日本，大大推动了日本赏花文化的发展。隋唐时期中国佛教礼法和佛前供花以及花器的不断传入，极大程度地促进了日本祭坛插花的兴起，导致了日本最古老的插花流派——池坊流的诞生。池坊流随着与日本本土文化日益融合，最终形成了具有日本民族特色和传统文化特点的插花艺术——花道。在Ikbana（日本插花）这个名词已广为流传的今天，追溯日本插花之源头，有利于我们了解中国传统文化与插花艺术之魅力，树立民族自尊心与自信心，为振兴中国现代插花艺术提供有益的借鉴。

The Origin of Japanese Ikebana

Along with the development of Sino\|Japan cultural exchanges in ancient time, China’s Mei flowers, chrysanthemums, and willows were introduced into Japan together with the custom of expressing one’s moods and passions through appreciation of flowers in the Sui and Tang Dynasties in China, which greatly promoted the development of the culture of flower appreciation in Japan. The introduction into Japan of the Buddhist ceremony and the habit of making floral decoration on Buddhist altar in Sui and Tang Dynasties gave rise to the floral decoration for altar in Japan and also gave birth to the first ancient flower arrangement school, Ikenobo, in Japan. Through merging with the local culture, the introduction eventually turned into the Japanese flower arrangement art, Ikebana, with Japanese national characteristics and cultural traditions. Nowadays, when the noun “IKBANA” is so popular, it is beneficial to trace the origin of it and hence to understand the charm of Chinese traditional culture and art of flower arrangement, which will be of great significance in fostering our national self-esteem and self-confidence and in learning from the spirit of the Japanese who are willing to absorb the essence of any excellent external culture and inspired by the spirit of innovation. It will especially be helpful in renovating the Chinese modern flower arrang ement art.
