在全国老子道学文化研究会成立大会上的讲话

道学文化肇始于先民母系氏族公社的原始宗教,是中华民族传统文化的根柢。当代人类在反省自身发展模式和未来命运走向、积极探索解决现代化内在矛盾、努力构建公正合理的社会秩序和国际新秩序等方面,道学文化日益显示出其回归自然、保护生态、消弭战祸、促进和谐发展的价值导向和普世的文化特征。世界大国中唯独中国内地没有全国性的老子道学文化学会,使中国内地各类学术活动和学术品质受到很大的制约。2008年3月28日,"老子道学文化研究会"成立大会在北京人民大会堂举行。该研究会作为国家一级学会将努力成为一个弘扬中华文化的坚实平台,担负起时代赋予的繁荣发展中华老子道学文化的重任。

Speech at the Founding Conference of National Lao Tsu's Taoism Culture Research Seminar

Taoist culture,the root of Chinese nation's traditional culture,originated from primitive religion by maternal clan commune of the ancient people.In contemporary man's retrospection of self development mode and the trend of its destiny,in active exploration of solution for its internal contradictions,in his endeavor of structuring just and rational social order and international orders,Taoist culture has increasingly shown its value orientation of returning to the Nature,environmental protection,extinction of the wars,promotion of harmonious development,and a universal cultural characteristics.Among the big countries,China is the only one without a nationwide Lao Tsu's Taoism Culture institute,a state causing great restriction to various academic activities and academic quality of inland of China.On March 28,2008,the founding conference of Lao Tsu's Taoism Culture Research Seminar was held in Great Hall of the People in Beijing.This Seminar,as of the fist level institute in the country,will make endeavor to undertake the important task of prospering the development of China's Lao Tsu Taoist culture,and to become a firm platform for carrying forward Chinese culture.
