With the popularity of the Internet,China has now entered the Internet age.Network is closely connected to all walks of life.Particularly it has become an integral part of young people’s life.Because of the timeliness of the network,more people have become accustomed to obtaining information from the network.In addition to access to information from the network,people make online friends,share information and conduct other network activities.Along with this trend,network language begins to flourish.The specific network environment has produced network Chinese language,with variations in terms of vocabulary,grammar,pronunciation,and composition.This article analyzes the origin and evolution of the network language as well as its impacts on the Chinese language.
