| 摘 要： | 英语幽默通常滑稽而含蓄 ,捧腹又发人深省。然而 ,由于文化背景的差异 ,非英语国家的人很难真正领悟到英语幽默的奥妙所在。本文从语用学的角度 ,根据会话合作原则的四项准则 ,对英语幽默产生的原因进行探讨并举例予以说明

| Abstract: | English jokes are very humorous and implicit.While they can set people roaring with laughter,they can also set people thinking.However,people in non\|English speaking countries cannot completely understand English humor because of the differences between different cultures.This article tries to find out the causes of English humor in terms of co\|operative principles of conversation.Several examples are given to illustrate each cause. |
